BOOK A

LEGO PHYSICS CLUB

This exciting club designed for children in years 5 and 6 is going to give them a head start for their secondary school education, where studying Science will be crucial for their future. Physics is arguably the most interesting of the physical sciences, and during this club children will playfully explore and understand some of the fundamental area of Physics by conducting LEGO experiments each week. They will start off by learning about conservation of energy and momentum and will move on learning about the solar system, special relativity (Einstein’s work), atoms and touching on the basics of quantum mechanics. All these exciting topics will be explored through experiments facilitated by complex LEGO models.

By the end of the course, students will have a strong base in all areas of Physics, they will use physical intuition and mathematical logic and will feel ready to learn more about these topics and perhaps even go on to specialise in them as they grow up.

The club will be taught by Engineering Minds tutors and Lewis Ross who is undertaking a Master’s Degree in Theoretical Physics at University College London, ranked #12 in Best Global Universities.
