Engineering Minds’ course will focus on three elements of Visual Communication:
Graphic Design (Autumn term)

Animation and Video Making (Spring Term)
and Web Design (Summer term)

Graphic Design - September to December 2023

Children will learn how to create posters, birthday cards and invitations, menus, monograms, logos, infographics, or covers of their favourite books, movies, CDs. The

programme will enable children to understand how to create effective visual messages and how to critically assess the visual communications around them.

They will discover how to apply visual hierarchy and page layout techniques, using typography, colours, symbols and images.

The clubs will be taught by Ludovica Quaranta, a professional graphic and web designer for several dynamic media agencies, start-ups, social enterprises, charities and small-scale entrepreneurs based in London and a long-experienced Engineering Minds tutor across Greenwich and Bromley's schools.
