Easter STEAM & LEGO Robotics Camp

in South East London

Join us for an exciting 3-day adventure where children explore science, technology, creativity and performance,

all through hands-on LEGO Robotics and STEM experiments.

Each day brings a new challenge — come for one, or experience the whole journey.

Designed for curious minds aged 6–11.

Day 1 – Tuesday 7th April

Robots Inspired by Nature

LEGO Robotics • Coding Basics • Biology • Zoology

Spring is the perfect time to explore how nature inspires engineering. Children will design and build LEGO robots inspired by animals and natural movements, learn about biology, zoology and biomimicry and create stop-motion animations to bring their robotic creations to life.

Children will:

• Build and code LEGO robots inspired by animals and natural movements
• Explore how engineers learn from nature through biomimicry
• Learn fascinating ideas from
biology and zoology, such as how animals move, sense their environment, and adapt
• Use sensors, motors, and simple coding to recreate natural behaviours in robots
• Create stop-motion animations to bring their robotic creatures to life
• Take part in creative team challenges that develop curiosity, problem-solving, and design thinking

Day 2 – Wednesday 8th April

Robots Solving Real-World Problems
LEGO Robotics • History • Engineering • International Cooperation

Around the world, engineers, scientists and rescue teams from many countries work together to solve global challenges and help people in need. On this exciting day, children will also discover how international teams often work together to solve global challenges, showing how cooperation and shared knowledge can help build a better future for everyone.

Children will:

• Design and build rescue and engineering robots using LEGO Robotics
• Explore how engineers respond to real-world challenges such as earthquakes, damaged bridges, and disaster recovery
• Learn how
sensors, motors and simple coding allow robots to operate in complex environments
• Take part in team missions where robots must navigate obstacles, move objects and complete rescue tasks
• Discover how scientists, engineers and rescue teams from different countries work together to solve global challenges

This day encourages engineering thinking, teamwork and creativity, while helping children understand how cooperation and innovation can help build a better future for everyone.

Day 3 – Thursday 9th April

Moon Explorers -  Perfoming Arts meets Robotics, Astronomy and Video Making

LEGO Robotics • Performing • Props making • Video making and Editing

This unique day combines robotics, astronomy, performing arts, and video making. Children will explore the importance of the Moon for life on Earth while building robotics models, creating props, and working together on a short Moon-themed performance and video project inspired by astronomy.

Children will:

•  Explore fascinating facts about the Moon and its importance for life on Earth
• Build LEGO robotics models inspired by
space exploration and lunar missions
• Learn basic ideas from
astronomy, including the Moon’s phases and its influence on our planet
• Design and create
props and simple sets for a Moon-themed performance
• Work together to rehearse and perform a short
science-inspired theatre piece
• Film and present a
creative video project combining STEM, storytelling, and teamwork

This day blends engineering with astronomy, arts and video making, perfect for children who love to learn, imagine, design and create.
