ENGINEERING MINDS HOLIDAY CLUBS
With Engineering Minds the school holidays are exciting times when parents do not need to worry about keeping their children physically busy and mentally active. Our half-day or full- day Science Clubs not only reinforce knowledge and skills learned during the year, but also entertain children and introduce them to new activities and technologies, building on their creativity and eagerness to explore science. Many of our clubs are outdoor as children need fresh air and nature is the best place to learn about science.
We have been really busy during summer 2018. Two science clubs in Bromley Library, three full days hosted by the National Maritime Museum, and three outdoor clubs in the ancient Oxleas Woods inspired over 50 children to explore the Space and the Underwater World, while building and coding LEGO robots, learning slow motion animation and film making techniques and using their creativity to design and decorate settings and protagonists for their films. We are very proud of every child we worked with during July and August 2018, and we look forward to seeing everyone soon for the new afterschool science and coding clubs starting in September. Thank you all!
